Eastern Xiaoshan area is located in southern margin of the North China Platform,in the North of Lushi- Luoning Fault Depression. It belongs to the Xiong‘ershan and Yingchi – Queshanstratigraphic subregion ofthe Western Henanstratigraphic region in classification of the north stratigraphic region in China. The study area is located in the east of Xiong’ershan area, where there is a good ore-forming geological conditions.On the basis of deeply analyses the geological background of mineralization in Xiaoshan area, this papermainly studies the characteristics of geological structure, magmatic activity, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing image anomaly characteristics.On this basis, the paper determinates the favorable prospecting target areaby the methodsof geological, geophysical prospecting, geochemical and remote sensing information synthetic method. The main results as follows:(1)After investigation and research on Dashiao diorite and Zhonghe granite porphyry, the paper has found a close relationship between Zhonghe granite porphyry and the Pb, Zn ore deposits in the area.(2)On the basis of the study area typical deposits comprehensive analysis summarized the district polymetallic metallogenic law, and to explore the region genesis model.(3)The paper delimits 9 weak magnetic anomalies in the study area by the method of 1:50000 high precision magnetic survey and data processing.The paper delimits 19 element anomalies,8 composite anomalies, 6 integrated anomalies, by the method of 1:50000stream sediment survey.According to the lines, belts, rings, color blocks which are interpreted from the remote sensing image information, and minerals information of typical altered minerals chlorite, limonite, barite, calcite etc.(4)According to the analysis of geological, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing information, the paper determines the ore controlling indicators, and delimits 7 ore prospecting target areas, which can be graded from Ato C, 1 A-class target area, 2 B-class target areas, 4 C-classtarget areas.
