With the high speed of modernization in China, the quantity of ore resource demanded for social development is increasing considerably. Nowadays, it is hard to discover the outcrop ore, half outcrop ore and shallow ore. Exploiting ore deposits in covered areas is already an emphasis of geological exploration work. As the normal geochemical prospecting methods can not meet the requirement of unveiling the deep buried deposits, researches of geogas prospecting and active-state soil extraction technology receive a lot of attention. The study area of this dissertation is located in Taqian-zhuxi-fuchun copper and multi-metal metallogenic belt of red earth covered area of Jiangxi Provience. All of the under-researched deposits in study area, without any contamination of mining, are of classical blind deposit type, which are suitable for researches of geogas prospecting and active-state soil extraction technology. The validity test results based on the geogas prospecting researches of Zhuxi Tungsten-copper Orefield and Yuexing Orefield and Multi-metal Orefield show that the orefields’ results are different from each other. The elements content in geogas of Zhuxi Orefield is relatively low, which can not clearly unveil the information of blind deposits. That is due to the fact that wide-spread carbonate stratum may confine the migration of geogas. While, the elements content in geogas of Yuexing Orefield show an considerable clear and continuous abnormity above the blind deposits, which means this method can provide useful information for prospecting. The active-state soil extraction technology is applied for the research on Zhuxi Tungsten-copper Orefield. In this dissertation, B-reagent is selected as extractant and attempts of different concentrations and of different extraction method are tested in this research. Total quantity of general soil is used as a contrast test. The results demonstrate that the active-state soil extraction technology is better and more effective in providing prospecting related information of blind deposits. The concentration of 0.2% can give much more prospecting related information than the concentration of 0.5%. The deeper metallogenetic information can be obtained by the active-state extraction, instead of static extraction. The purpose of this dissertation is discovering a project of chemical prospecting to find blind deposits in red earth covered areas through comparison of chemical prospecting methods upon different deposits and multiple prospecting methods upon a single deposit. This chemical prospecting project is hopefully to be applied in any other similar red earth covered areas.
