As a very important breakthrough in physics, Anti-de Sitter/Conformal ?eld theory(AdS/CFT) correspondence revealed the profound correspondence between the gravitation theory and the ?eld theory. Recently, it has been successfully used to deal with the strongly coupled system in condensed matter physics, including the study of the superconducting phenomenon in condensed matter physics by using the holographic superconductor model in the gravitational background. In this article we constructed a new p-wave holographic dual model with Weyl corrections in the probe limit via a Maxwell complex vector ?eld and compared the results with those of the p-wave holographic dual model in the Yang-Mills theory, tried to get the e?ects of the 1/N or 1/λ(λ is the ’t Hooft coupling constant)corrections on the holographic superconducting transition. We found that, in the soliton background, the Weyl corrections do not in?uence the properties of the holographic p-wave insulator/superconductor phase transition, which is di?erent from that of the Yang-Mills theory. However, in the black hole background, we observed that similar to the Weyl correction e?ects in the Yang-Mills theory, the higher Weyl corrections make it easier for the p-wave metal/superconductor phase transition to be triggered, which shows that these two p-wave models with Weyl corrections share some similar features for the condensation of the vector operator.
