The work is supported by the project “Detection to Active Fault and Evaluation of Seismic Risk to the City of Changzhou- Identify the Active of the Fault”.Learn previous research, dividing Lithostratigraphic and chronostratigraphic of the standards and cross-fault drillings and establishing the division symbol, to sum up Quaternary sedimentary characteristics of the study area. Collecting 335 drillings in the study area, dividing and comparing strata, establishing Changzhou Quaternary stratigraphic framework, and using three-dimensional modeling software GOCAD to build geological formations visualization model as reference for Changzhou Quaternary research. In this paper,drawing the following conclusions:1.According to lithology, age data, palynological combinations and other information, the comprehensive results of previous studies,the Quaternary is divided into five parts-Qhr,Qp3 g,Qp3k, Qp2 q, Qp1 h.2.Due to the influence of ancient landscapes and fault activities, The thicknessof Qp1 h and Qp2 qare uneven and drillings have a large stratigraphic changes. Affected by tectonic relatively activity in the early Quaternary and relatively stable in the late Quaternary, quaternary strata also by the early differences, to the late gradually stabilized.3. The drilling contrast and comprehensive regional structural analysis showed that the Su-Xi-Chang fault and Houyu-Xinqiao fault mainly affects the middle Pleistocene Qidong group and before it, Qidong group is the thickest in all groups, the impact from the two faults on the upper Pleistocene is small that mainly affected by sedimentary filling, showing stable distribution characteristics.4.Using Arc GIS and Auto CAD to process the data of drillings, using GOCAD to simulate Quaternary three-dimensional geological model of the study area, expounding the effect of faults on stratum, sedimentary filling are thick and complete,the stratum is stable in the study area at last.
