Tribology, as a research subject of surface friction. It mainly related to the relative motion between the phenomena of friction, wear, lubrication, and the relationship between the three. In recent years, surface texturing technology as an effective means to improve the tribological properties of the surface, and the surface of the film is widely used in hydrodynamic lubrication and dry friction, favored by domestic and foreign scholars. At the same time, numerical simulation and experimental research in all aspects of surface texture becoming tribology academic research focus. This topic include, the numerical simulation method to analysis the grooves on the surface texture of tribological properties in the cases of hydrodynamic lubrication. And in dry friction situations, discusses the tribological behavior of parallel grooves texture. The effects of nano-Si C coating on the parallel texture, detailed analysis of the modified surface texture coating tribological properties.First, the study on the hydrodynamic lubrication performance of the surface grooves texture for a unsteady oil film thickness. Establishing computer fluid dynamics(CFD) model,and using the FLUENT software to simulation the dynamic pressure film carrying capacity of the surface groove texture. By analyzing the relationship between the texture grooves optimal depth and width, thickness of between optimal depth texture that affected width. And proposed the groove design model for the optimal combination of parameters: W = 0.5, D =0.7. Optimal depth of grooves on the surface texture is not the film thickness of the impact,but is sensitive to width, W = 0.5 corresponds to the stability of oil film bearing the strongest.Second, in the substrate surface by plasma spraying technology for material steel GCr15,prepared the KF301+WS2+La2O3 composite material lubrication and wear-resisting coating.Combined with laser remelting and micro-textured surface methods in machined parallel to the sample surface texture textured coating morphology. By friction and wear testing,analysis of the coefficient of friction and wear, observing morphology of the wear, and spectroscopy(EDS) to analyze the surface composition changes. It indicated that surface texturing technique can improve the tribological properties of the coating.Third, the nano-Si C as a filler material, combined with laser remelting and surface texturing process method, prepared of nano-Si C particles modified parallel micro-textured coating surface on the composite lubricating surface. By scanning electron microscopyanalysis, compared with unmodified compared to the coating surface, nano-Si C modified parallel micro-textured, the internal structure of the composite coating surface to refine,enhance binding force. By high temperature friction and wear test, the modified textured coating surface friction coefficient and wear volume are decreased. This illustrates, the modified nano-Si C particles textured coating to enhance the tribological properties of the original surface.In short, surface textured coating can improve the tribological properties of friction pair.In the micro-texture of the surface shape design, distribution, suitable working conditions and other aspects of the impact of tribological properties, has very good prospects.
