The occurrence of Mountain landslide is the result of the mountain evolving over time, currently various techniques were used in landslide monitoring which can achieve the implementation of the monitoring and forecasting of landslide in a way,but the existing monitoring system or monitoring technology is difficult to capture landslide dynamic information timely, as a result it is difficult to accurately predict the occurrence of landslide, in the end it result in huge losses. Research and analysis shows that the landslide happened is the constant motion of slope, when the slope displacement accumulated to a certain extent, the gravity is greater than the slope of the resistance against the landslide will be occur, while the node positioning technology of wireless sensor networks can be acquired geographic information of the monitoring goals, so the technology is used in landslide monitoring to calculated the nodal displacements so as to replace landslide displacement monitoring, and ultimately achieve the purposes of landslide monitoring.First the paper analysis the characteristics and the localization technology of WSN, then designs the structure of landslide monitoring system, finally choose one of wireless communication technology—Zig Bee which combined with wireless sensor network, and applied in the landslide monitoring. In the end, analysis node localization technology of WSN in-depth, calculating the WSN node position to monitoring movement of slope so as to achieve the purpose of predict the landslide.Therefore, this paper mainly research and discuss the contents as follows:1. Analysis the external environment of landslide monitoring, on the basis of the above, considering the current applications, WSN technologies, the requirements of node design; finally, finish the design of the structure of monitoring system for landslide.2. Introduces and analyzes the current mainstream wireless communication technology, through analysis and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages, as well as considering the characteristics of the landslide, select the appropriate wireless communication technology.3. As the external environment is complex and change easily in which the landslide located, node localization algorithm is applied to landslide monitoring simply while the positioning accuracy can’t meet the demand, therefore put forwardan improved RSSI-based weighted centroid localization algorithm(IWCLA), the algorithm considers the external environment in which the slope body node located,introduce the anchor node error coefficient, adjust RSSI ranging in real-time,introduce the conception of environmental factors for the anchor nodes at the same time, the quotient of environment factors and correction distance as weights, to make the selection of the weight more reasonable, reduce the influence of the external environment.This paper make a simulation for IWCLA in Matlab 2012 b environment, and also make a simulation for another algorithm in the same environmental conditions, and compared to the simulation experiments finally, the final results of the simulation graphic shows that, IWCLA external environment have a wider tolerance. And the dynamics of IWCLA applied to avoid the use of the slope of the displacement sensor,reducing the costs.
