In modern society, gold, silver and bronze are viewed as very important rare metals. However, industrially recovery of rare metals is difficult because of lack better technology. In this study, we sucessfully display target protein Go1B from S. typhimurium LT2on the surface of Pichia pastoris cell, and target protein is further confirmed to express on the surface of Pichia pastoris through FACS and immunostaining. Then, induced recombinant yeast cells were mixed with different rare metals, after washing, bioadsorption of recombinant yeasts was detected by ICP-AES.To see intuitively target protein GolB can adsorb precious metals, we inspected adsorption of metal ions on the surface of yeast cells through TEM, fully proving target protein GolB can adsorb precious metals. Finally,we also detected tolerance of transformants to precious metal ions.
