Matouying-uplift-belt which is in the north of Huangye-depression developedPalezonic carbonate buried hill.Since many wells in the adjacent regions have theshows of oil and gas,it has good exploration prospect of oil and gas.But due to thestrong heterogeneity of the reservoirs of burid hills and the complication of themechanism of accumulation,the exploration has been restricted.In order to looking forthe exploration backup regions for Jidong oilfield,deepening the analysis of theaccumulation conditions of the buried hills has significant meaning for both theory andreality.This paper talks about the Palezonic buried hill in Matouying-uplift-belt.By makingfull use of the geological,geophysical and logging datas and the analysis bypredecessors,we focus on the formation and evolution of the buried hill,thecharacteristics of the reservoir, hydrocarbon source rock evaluation,the accumulationconditions and thefavorable exploration target selection.Matouying-uplift is a fault-block buried hill plunging to north or north-east.Itexperienced four evolutionary stages as stable rise,extrusion to fold,fault warped pourand stable subsidence,thus its characteristics shows as early lifting and folding,midwarped pouring and late stable.The reservoir of the Paleozoic buried hills is a set of intertidal deposited carbonaterocks.Among the rocks, the residual strata of Cambrian formations distribute in theeastern Wangtan-12wellblock and the Ordovician formations distribute in the Ma-2wellblock only.The maily pore types of the reservoir is the intergranular hole,corrosionhole and cracks. The comprehensive evaluation of the reservoirs in the study areashows that Cambrian junshan island groups and phoenix mountain groups are goodreservoirs.The study area developed3sets of hydrocarbon source rock as the third sectionsShahejie groups of Paleogene, Jurassic and the cretaceous of Mesozoic.Amongthem,reservoirs of Jurassic and the cretaceous is the major ones since they are spreadingwidely and have better quality than the oreservoirs in the east of Leting sag and Shijiutuo depression center.The hydrocarbon source rocks of Mesozoic,reservoirs of Palaeozoic and themudstone sales of Cenozoic Erathem composed middle hydrocarbon source rocks weiththe early reservoirs.Fault and unconformity surfaces are the mainly migrationchannels.This paper confirmed that the buried hill formated in the late Dongying andestablished the Reservoiring pattern of the study area.Considering of the distribution ofreservoirs and the condition for saving,we predict a favorable region for the Cambrianburid hills exploration.
