Erdos basin is one of the important oil and gas bearing basins in China, Zhenjing oil fieldis located at Zhenyuan and Jingchuan country in the west margin of Erdos basin, the petroleumresource potential is huge, having good prospects for exploration and development. Theexploration that Zhenjing in the Chang8reservoir is a large area, low abundance, lowpermeability, horizontally and vertically on the strong heterogeneity of the reservoir, theresearch on reservoir characteristics for Erdos basin Zhenjing oil field Chang8reservoir hasimportant practical significance to speed up the pace of the petroleum exploration anddevelopment. In order to study Zhenjing oil field reservoir in detail, the area are classified,Honghe37well area as a representative, the research on reservoir characteristics of the area isimportant for understanding the whole area.Based on the existing research results, through the analysis of core observation, thinsection identification, statistics, combined with logging, logging and oil test data, using thetheories and methods of sedimentary petrology, reservoir sedimentology. I do detailly researchon the characteristics of chang8reservoirs of Honghe37well area in Zhenjing oil field.Chang8reservoir group is divided into6layers. Has obtained industrial oil flow of Chang812belongs to the distributary channel deposit. Sandstone type has dark grey, grey feldspathiclithic sandstone, lithic arkose, sandstone grain size has fine, fine-grain, and powder-fine. Typeof cementation has pore type and membrane pore type; cement composition has calcite,kaolinite and chlorite. Chang8reservoir average porosity is10.8%; average permeability is0.4×10-3μm2, a good correlation with porosity and permeability. Residual primaryintergranular pores and secondary pores are the main pore type layer. Through comprehensiveanalysis on reservoir properties, Zhenjing oilfield, Chang8reservoir of37wells belongs tolow porosity, low permeability, especially in hole, fine throat, medium reservoir. Finally,reservoir in the study area is divided into three types, and predicts its distribution.
