Daqing oilfield is the most important oil and gas production base in China, however, after a nearly five decades of exploration and development, Daqing oilfield has entered the later stage of oil and gas exploration and development, currently facing a grave situation of reserve-production imbalances and lack of succeeding resources. However, Fuyu oil bed in Daqing placanticline and its east area have great exploration potential, which is a fine exploration main battlefield of Daqing oilfield that can submit oil reserves recently.Therefore, by conventional polarizing microscope, cathode luminescence microscope, physical properties, particle size analysis, mercury intrusion analysis, X ray diffraction and so on, lithology, physical properties, characteristics of diagenesis of Fuyu oil bed are studied comprehensively, and thus, the classification reservoir is classified and evaluated. Finally the microscopic features of sedimentary reservoir of this area is understood, the main factors controlling the reservoir are dug out, the understanding of reservoir characteristics of Fuyu reservoir is deepen. Clastic particles around the microcrystalline quartz and chlorite coat prevent quartz overgrowth and preserve pore in a certain extent, which has been showed in Fuyu formation and construct reservoir. The reason of low porosity and low permeability is the high content of mudstone cuttings, which forms false matrices and block pores and reduce the porosity and permeability greatly.
