With the increasing extent of oilfield development, oil well production capacity graduallyreduced, moisture content have gradually increased, and mining of cross-well residual oil is animportant guarantee to achieve stable oil production and improve the ultimate recoveryefficiency for this period. To mine the residual oil, must detect it firstly, and locate theenrichment areas. This paper mainly research on how to build the transient electromagneticline-source on the basis of cross well transient electromagnetic detection system.In addition, this paper based the theory of transient electromagnetic method for solvingthe frequency domain response. Then it analyzed the relationship between the frequencydomain and time domain through theoretical line-source model, and calculated the emissionline-source transient electromagnetic fields. Furthermore, the simulation of line-sourcestratigraphic model indicate method could effectively predict the telluric current response, thenestimate the impact on transient electromagnetic signals reception of different tilt anglesline-source.At the main implementation aspects of building line-source, research the lengthrelationship between emission line-source and receiver line-source by theoretical models ofdifferent electrode position. Therefore, it drew the corresponding rule of the vertical positionalbetween two electrodes on numerical calculation and simulation. Through calculate thrustforce of main agency derive the structure parameters and theoretical value, design a pushingthat accomplishing the electrode function.Finally, through launched large number of field experiment to verify the theory oftransient electromagnetic method, and test pushing motor of performance specifications. Theresults showed the pusing electrode is able to content requirements, which provides animportant basis on the test of cross-well residual oil detection system by transientelectromagnetic method.
