In recent decades, with the expansion of computing and computer applicationtechnology, the application of inventory control model has been increasingly wide.Many inventory theory researchers over the years specializing in the production andsales of alterative item inventory models, most of the early models regard the inventorycost and shortage cost of unit time and unit items as constant. People are unceasinglyfound in daily life practice that in the inventory of items per unit time of inventory costand shortage cost is related with time and other factors, are variable, so the research ofinventory problem for alterative items of variable inventory cost and shortage cost isvery necessary.First of all, in this paper, considering the order cost is variable, under theassumption of inventory cost and shortage cost is a function of time, and considering theinventory cost is a function of inventory, established two alterative item inventorymodel of the alterative inventory cost and shortage cost of the item is the function oftime and inventory cost is a function of the inventory respectively, and theoreticallyproved the existence of the optimal solution.Second, aiming at the two alterative item inventory models in this thesis ofinventory cost and shortage cost is the function of time and the inventory cost is afunction of inventory, giving the different parameters and change function, doingnumerical simulation, and a sensitivity analysis is carried out. With the simulationresults of a numerical example and sensitivity analysis to further explore the validity ofthe model and the actual feasibility, it is shown that the research of the problem hascertain practical significance.
