Qinan coal mine and its deep exploration area is located in the south of Suzhou City in Anhui.72Coal seam which has characteristics including the relatively simple structure and developing stability belongs to medium-thickness seam as mainly mining coal seam.Organic components are a high content which occupy about83.7%in the coal seam.And vitrinite has major part in organic maceral, so coal seam possesses a good potentiality of gas generating. Meanwhile,gas is beneficial stroting in the coal seam because of roof and floor which is respectively dominated by mudstones. According to borehole data,there is a gas-bearing in No.72coal seam where the gas content is10-20m3/t.,being up to27.62m3/t. All the analysis shows that the coal seam has a good outlook of CBM exploiting utilizing.In the collection, collation and analysis of the base of CBM hosting geological conditions and coal reservoir data,the paper was taken these influencing factors that the burial depth of coal-bed,roof lithologic character,tectonic conditions, coal-bed gas content, porosity, coal reservoir pressure, coal seam thickness,coal metamorphic degree as evaluation indexes. These have been93units of evaluation divided in No.72coal seam. Weights of indexes were calculated through the AHP after indexes of evaluation data in each unit. White function for each index points unfavorable areas, the general area, favorable area, the most favorable area level. Finally, result of assessment was obtained with matrix operation in each unit. From the evaluation results, CBM resources into favorable areas, the general area, and the negative zone.In the paper, using the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation conducts quantitative evaluation to72coal seam.To pvovide reference for development in southern Suzhou mining.
