Applied to solve the interpretation of dipole device IP anomaly in a lead-zincmine area in Shuangbai, the finite element method was chosen to do forward. Startingfrom the two-dimensional point source, five regular shape electric body forwardnumerical simulations was made, such as vertical, horizontal, inclined plate body andtwo cubes and so on. Then, the least square method is used to do inversion, and theinversion results excellently correspond to the given model and space position.The inversion results of apparent dispersion rate pseudo section anomaly makeclearly that the abnormity result from multiple effect of mineralized altered rocks andsmall scale lead-zinc mine in Jiguanshi, Jiguanshi upper and1510abnormal area. It isa great possibility that lead-zinc ore was found in this area. Therefore, Jiguanshi andJiguanshi upper anomaly area were named as North prospecting area,1510and theknown mining area in Southwest anomaly area were named as South prospecting area.The feature of north and south lead zinc mine has different characteristics. Thedistribution of lead zinc mineralization belt in the north is much more complex thanlead zinc mineralization belt in the south. It reflected as follows poor stability, notobvious zonal characteristics, form west to east central no anomalies and so on. Fromthe perspective of the detection of lead zinc ore, lead zinc mineralization belt innorthern seems to be width than south lead zinc mineralization belt. The southern leadzinc mineralization belt in grade and quality maybe better than north. From thesituation of the known ore occurrence, lead zinc ore grade and quality of small scaleand lentoid is better than the lead zinc ore of large scale and layered outputThe effectiveness of amplitude frequency induced polarization method ismanifested by the results, and the lead-zinc mineralization alteration zone abnormalfeatures of dipole sounding device excellently reflect the alteration zone depth andsection shape.
