The remote sensing technology was developed since the last century60’s with its large scope, timeliness, fast and.Now its rapidly developed and widely used in the agriculture, forestry, geology, meteorology, military, environmental protection etc.Remote sensing technology as a new technology of predicting oil and gas, through image processing, image analysis, can find the geological information in the some surface natural landscape and underground geological information of certain depth. Remote sensing technology of oil and gashas two kinds of methods–interpretate structure information and the hydrocarbon leakage information extracting.It can be predicted the favorable hydrocarbon accumulation, and find the type of oil and gas geological structure.This thesis combines two oil and gas remote sensing methods tocomprehensive analysis the Southern Daba Mountain region and determine the oil and gas prospect. In this paper, the basic data including major geological map of Southern Daba Mountain region, oil and gas exploration data, and other regional ETM. Combined with the geological data on the linear structure,ring structure of the study area to interpreted; contrast images of each band spectral information, extraction model various types of hydrocarbon see page summary, extracted leakage of hydrocarbon of the known oil and gas area; comprehensive analysis of each kinds of information with GIS technology,defined the final delineation of prospective areas.This thesis has following contents and results:(1) Use ETM image to radiometric calibration, atmospheric correction, merge, mosaics and other treatment, combined with the geological maps to build the interpreting signs to interpret the geological linear structure, ring structure. Ring structure is basically located in South Daba Mountain fold belt, its structure and fracture orientation toward consistent.(2) Through compare the band of the image, choose the right band to combination.According to the band to interfere, prepared to the extraction of hydrocarbon leakage information. We select ETM1/3, ETM5/7, ETM5/4,extracts abnormal iron, abnormalities of carbonate and clay mineralization. Compared and analysed the construction information and hydrocarbon leakage information of the known oil and gas and display points, and then we determine the hydrocarbon prediction model.In order to control the hydrocarbon leakage characteristics, analysis to obtain a variety of integrated distribution alteration, can be initially identified by analysis of prospective areas.(3) Use GIS technology to make density map about lineament intersections and tectonic intersection intersections, the frequency of the ring structure, hydrocarbon leakage information,final overlay analysis, integrated anomaly density map.(4) At the end, based on the full knowledge of the Daba Mountain tectonic setting, combined with remote sensing and hydrocarbon leakage information extraction to analysis, defined the eight prospects and detailed description of the prospects.
