With the development of intelligent remote sensor technology, combined with the rapid development of wireless transmission te chnology and network of meteorological service, meteorological a utomatic observation ability strengthens unceasingly, observatio n projects continue to increase, more and more rich observation equipment types. Musicale automatic weather station has graduall y become an important way of ground meteorological observation, its wide application to improve the monitoring capacity of regio nal disaster weather. But the existing meteorological observatio n network can not meet the growing flood and hill area of mounta in torrents geological disasters occur frequently in small river s, and to the ecological environment comprehensive management of meteorological monitoring demand of disaster area. So for mount ain torrents geological disasters of the automatic weather stati on be imperative research and application.This paper based on the mountain torrent geology disaster in Huhehot area, based on the existing automatic meteorological eq uipment, first analyzes the automatic torrent rainfall station f unction and design requirements. Then we study the automatic tor rential rainfall station hardware equipment, wireless transmissi on, embedded system, central station theory and practice. Analys is and design based on ARM7core, GPRS transmission and automati c flash flood rainfall station. In JAVA and MySQL platform devel opment and design of automatic torrential rainfall station opera tion monitoring system.By evaluating the operation efficiency of automatic torrent rainfall station in Hohhot area, analyzed the factors influence the ability of the equipment operation. Find and summarize all k inds of problems in data transmission, data quality automatic ra infall station construction effect of mountain torrents running in the process of localization. Torrential rainfall station fact ors will influence the operation efficiency of digitalization, s tandardization, quantification. And puts forward some solution s, so that the weakness of existing flash flood warning system a nd highlight the problem is basically solved. In order to effect ively improve the efficiency of torrent rainfall project equipme nt operation, provides the reliable reference for flood warning.
