In the study of oil and gas reservoir geology, how to more accurately identify the gas orwater layer has always been greatly concerned. To solve such problems usuallycomprehensively judged by seismic information, logging information, mud logginginformation and the production of dynamic information and so on.In the stage of reservoirevaluation mainly rely on the well logging and seismic information to identify it, and inthe stage of oilfield development primarily rely on through logging information, productiontest data, cross-well seismic data, four-dimensional seismic information to research. For thegas or water layer identification usually includes two aspects, one is to determine the reservoirfluid properties, the second is to evaluate the quality of reservoir.Because of the Wangjiatun gas field have the fault which divided it into north and southfield, including Fuyu and Yangdachengzi reservoir. The reservoirs are mainly channel sandand sand dam, mainly with low pore and low permeability or especially low permeability. inWangjiatun region,the formation water salinity of Fuyu and Yangdachengzi reservoir is lowand the existence of micro cracks,making conventional method which using the combinationof acoustic transit time and resistivity logs to identify gas or water layer shows poorstability.Therefore,this study is use the logging response characteristics and the analysismethod of the geological development to research the recognition method of gas or water layerin Wangjiatun gas field. Based on the summary and analysis of many kinds of data in corewells target layer, summarized four properties relations of reservoir. And on this basis todetermine the regional logging interpretation model of reservoir parameters,andthen reevaluate all single wells of oilfield. Combined with the method of double porositydifference, oil layer thickness standards and effective logging response characteristics ofdifferent reservoirs to classify reservoir parameter optimization. thereby to improvethe recovery rate and the development effectiveness of the block.
