The deep pressure problem in the deep-sea environment is the primary to solve whichexploring the deep-sea resources of the instruments and equipment are facing by.Pressure compensation method has become the preferred solutions to this problem.Bellows, as the elastic element, has been widely used in various pressure anddisplacement compensation occasion. The selection of the bellows’ geometricparameters determines the compensation performance.Firstly, use the finite element method for the bellows’ nonlinear analysis (materialnonlinearity, the large deflection), then get the bellow’s allowed displacement. Furtheranalysis the relations between the bellow’s geometers and its properties. Mainlyanalyzes the outer diameter, wave number, thickness and wave height to the influence ofthe bellow’s axial stiffness. The design principle of the structure using bellow aspressure balance element was generalized. And using the orthogonal test method tooptimize the bellow’s performance which its geometric parameters influenced, thusobtained the optimal parameter combination.Secondly, analyze the fatigue life of bellows which used in deep sea environment, getthe relationship between the geometric parameters and its fatigue life, provides guidancefor the design and choosing of the bellows which used in deep-sea environment.Lastly, Using the numerical integral method and putting forward a calculation methodof the amount of the volume of changed bellows. Based on the compressibility of liquid, deduce the formula of the changed volume of the bellow after deformation and theinside and outside of bellow’s differential pressure. Then put forward the detailedcalculation process of the bellow’s working depth and its differential pressure. Based onthe above analysis, a special senor structure is designed for measuring the sea pressureand the slight pressure in deep-sea.
