Low pollution and low energy consumptive, renewable energy is taken highattention by experts in the world. Especially, the development and application ofshallow geothermal energy is one of hottest research objects. Almost31provinces andautonomous region are undertaking the process of those relative to shallowgeothermal energy. Under the support of provincial project “Tangshan City`s researchdesign applied in shallow geothermal energy and with the significant help of secondgeological team in Tangshan City. The numerical simulation analysis of group wellpumping in Tangshan City is studied in this paper.Thermal property test is carried out around the Xiangjujiari project in Tangshancity to obtain the average temperature and thermal conductivity of stratums in studiedarea. At the same time, there are22wells is set in this area to monitor temperature in2014. Based on formation conditions and hydrogeological conditions of field,the3-Dwater and heat coupled numerical model of the group well pumping system in studiedarea is established.The group well pumping system of this project has been run from2011to2014and the actual monitoring data in2014are compared with the results of numericalsimulation in this paper.it shows that the actual monitoring data and actualgroundwater temperature is quite similar. Thus, it verifies the accuracy of the3-Dnumerical model of coupled heat and water.Based on the accuracy of this built model, the operating condition of the projectgroup well pumping in the coming7years is predicted in this paper. The numericalsimulation result shows that the groundwater temperature decreases quite obviouslyand the whole field already cannot fulfill the requirement of long-time operation ofthe project group well pumping.There are two optimized methods against the project group well pumping toincrease groundwater temperature. Those are alternate pumping well and differentlayer pumping well. The numerical simulation shows: alternate pumping well doesnot increase groundwater temperature markedly, but different layer pumping well gets better effects in increasing groundwater temperature.
