The contaminant transport in soil is a complex process. Hydrology, physical, chemical and biological reactions will happen once contaminant solute has been releasing into soil. The processes are consisted of convection, dispersion, diffusion, biodegradation and so on. Homotopy analysis method(HAM) is implemented to solve the single species and multi-species contaminant reactive transport model. Based on HAM, with auxiliary linear and nonlinear operator, zero order deformation equation is built to solve the model with Mathematica. In this paper, the HAM is implemented to solve single species transport model of contaminant with constant coefficient considering source concentration constant, and source concentration attenuation. Based on the program, the computed solution was compared with exact solution. It is found that presented solution is in good agreement with exact solution, but also the HAM owes clear math concept, calculation and certain precision.Based on HAM, the single species contaminant transport model without decay term, and with decay term considering time-dependent coefficient are solved. With the program, the computed solution was compared with exact solution, and the parameters in the model are analyzed, the results of the analysis can be used in practical work. With the HAM, the couple species contaminant reactive transport model with generally, smooth initial condition and the three species contaminant reactive transport model with attention condition are solved. Based on the program, the computed solution was compared with exact solution. It is found that presented solution is in good agreement with exact solution. It shows that HAM is one of the most simple and effective methods for research in the multi-species contaminant transport models. Finally, it was a summary of this paper and a prospecting of the researching for the application of the HAM in more complex contaminant transport models.
