Before July2009,the observation wells’karst water level has beenanti-change dynamics which is located in jiaocheng fracture seismic stationsTaiyuan, Shanxi,and continued to rising up as much as the14m in the next threeyears, during the water level rising period, the basis earthquake Bulk Strain ofTaiyuan, plumbing NS direction, horizontal pendulum EW direction, andcross-fault leveling precursor observation means are what have been moreunusual notably. To this end, ready to grasp the causes of the water leveldynamics,it has great significance to determine the future development of theearthquake situation.Observation wells precursory anomaly judgment hasalways been the difficulty of judging the earthquake situation. To determine thesource of the anomaly is crucial to determine the abnormal properties. So, thestudy focus on finding out the mechanism of water level rise.This paperattempts to use numerical model and Vector Machines (SVM) theory Supporttogether to explore the level dynamic mechanism.On the basis of previous studies, summarize and finish the naturalgeographical conditions and hydrogeological conditions of the well region todetermine the wells belonging to Jinci Spring Area. The paper analyses the overall level of dynamic changes in the vicinity of the well region.Then, itestablishes hydrogeological conceptual model based on spring area andnumerical simulation to analyze the dynamic changes of the former and laterdates rising quickly of the water level.Then, using SVM theory finds what maycause the water level rising, and finally determines the dominant factor in thewater level rising, and gives the mechanism discussion.The analysis revealed that several wells (Jin huajiulou,Hong gou, Pingquan,Liu jiayuan) in Edge Hill section of the well region shows similar water leveldynamic, and its water level dynamics is over upward trend based in2009-2012,The timing relationships of Taiyuan well location and the its water leveldynamic are comparable to this trend. Simulation results show that water levelis upward trend in the late2009around the fracture, also confirms this fact.When using svm theory to look for the factors, it detects that the changes inrainfall and labor exploitation and hysteresis characteristics of this period arestill the dominant factors of water level dynamic changes, but the water levelchanges in accelerated time,there are still other factors existing.
