This article, based on the basic geological background and covered karst collapse development scene investigation in Anhui Province along the Yangtze River, take Tongling Chizhou and Anqing as the key study object, use three-dimensional numerical simulation method to study the collapse caused by the water level drops and discuss and summarize karst collapse prevention advice. The conclusions are as follows:(1) Collapse caused by undgroundwater level fluctuation, especially the water level dropcollapse is the mainly collapse mode in this area.Including collapse in the process of human exploitation of groundwater, early mine drainage and rapid decline of the water level caused by water bursting in mine.Collapse mechanism consist of two:one suffosion collapse mode is mainly collapse mechanism, and the second vacuum eclipse collapse.(2) In especially,chizhou has natura factors collapse.Seasonal fluctuations of underground cause suffosion collapse and the earthquake in Jiujiang, Jiangxi cause vibration collapse.(3) the three-dimensional numerical simulation are used in studying collapse caused by the water level drops in typical stratum of Silty clay covering limestone.
