The research of the remnants of stratigraphic distribution, original stratigraphic thickness in the Permian, volcanic rock in Turpan-Hami Basin is not systematic, due to the low level of exploration in Paleozoic. The Santanghu Basin, which has a similar tectonic setting with the adjacent Turpan-Hami Basin, achieved good results in recent exploration of Carboniferous. such as logs and outcrop data show, Turpan-Hami Carboniferous-Permian volcanic rocks also has a more great research value, so the distribution rule of deep oil and gas reservoirs in the Turpan-Hami Basin is hope to be revealed by the study of the residual stratigraphic distribution, original stratigraphic thickness recovery, volcanic and other studies, so as to realize the oil and gas breakthrough in Turpan-Hami BasinThis thesis was based on the theoretical methods of petroleum geology, structural geology, volcanic rock analysis and combined with methods such as seismic geology and logging. With the regional context, local structural conditions and reference to the previous studies, the residual stratigraphic distribution in Turpan-Hami Basin from Carboniferous to Permian was analyzed from the residual stratigraphic distribution, original stratigraphic thickness recovery and the distribution characteristics of volcanic rock. According to the previous studies,combined with the seismic、geological and well data which have been got, the residual stratigraphic distribution from Carboniferous to Permian was analyzed. Based on the residual stratigraphic distribution, the original stratigraphic thickness in the Permian can be recovered. With Daheyan region and Hami redion in the basin as an example, the volcano rock in seismic profile has been identified. And at last, the distribution characteristics of volcanic rock and the tectonic setting between Carboniferous and Permian can be cleared.Turpan-Hami Basin is a superimposed compressional basin which has undergone multi-stage tectonic movements,and the repeated tectonic uplift resulted in the distribution characteristic of Carboniferous-Permian strata in Turpan-Hami Basin today.Carboniferous strata deposition within basin is distributed extensively,and the strata thickness is great,which is more than 3000m; the lower Permian strata is missing around the Bruga Salient、Huangtian Salient and Dananhu Uplift,and the biggest deposition thickness within Hami Depression is more than 1800m;the biggest deposition thickness of middle Permian strata in northern basin is more than 1000m;the upper Permian strata is mainly distributed in Taibei Depression,whose deposition thickness is more than 700m. The Carboniferous-Permian volcanic rocks in Hami Depression of eastern basin,which may form structure-volcanic rocks’ complex hydrocarbon reservers,is mainly distributed in north central research region.The northern Hami Depression was located in shallow sea-half deep sea environment during late Carboniferous,and it was located in the ocean-continent transitional environment during early Permian.The extensive distribution of volcanic rocks of lower Permian in basin western Daheyan region reflects the fact that Bogda region is the intercontinental rift.
