| Logging while drilling is a new logging technology which is developing, and the use of CAN bus in the industrial field is increasingly wide. The application of the intelligent technology of logging while drilling technology in the new type of oil and gas drilling engineering technology has wide popularization value currently. It has broad market demand and application prospect to use CAN bus to establish the logging while drilling system to promote the development of the logging while drilling technology and the oil and gas industry in our country.The project mainly studies the technology of logging while drilling, for the first time, it introduces the technology and CAN bus communication technology into intelligent drilling system. we analyzed the advantage of it compared with normal technologies and other communication technologies. And it overcomes the problems of the accuracy of the long-distance communication and the characteristics near-bit.Based on the principle of logging while drilling, the project studied the automatic solution of the characteristic parameters in the logging while drilling engineering. In order to improve the data rate and the reliability, and reduce the cost of the system, we designed the system of logging while drilling and the solution of CAN bus communication, and realized the collection near-bit and real-time communication over long-distance.The project is from Science and Technology Agency of SiChuan province, it uses AT90CAN32 micro-controller as the core, design a multi-channel data acquisition and processing system. In the multi-channel data acquisition and processing system, the acquisition of temperature is from a temperature sensor integrated in some chip. And with the use of three-axis accelerate meter and three-axis magnetic resistance sensor, we know the state near the drill location, in the form of gravity and magnetic fields.on the use of γ-ray intensity scintillation counter for counting, taking the induction logging to record the electrical conductivity of the wells. In the end, various data is packaged into message frame sent to the ground via CAN bus, and then give the comprehensive judgments based on various parameters from the ground and drilling depth to guide the drilling and to ensure the system operation correctly.The paper has carried experiment on communication of the system in function andreliability. The test of the communication function including sending data testing and receiving data testing.The experiment results show that: system can successfully send and receive Standard data frames. The paper also carried experiment on reliability of communication of the system in three aspects: frame interval test, communication distance test and communication rate test. The experimental results shows that it is reliable to meet the actual demand communication of the system. In addition, the function of the sensor module of the system was also tested. The system can basically meet the expected design goal, and it has great guiding significance for practical drilling engineering. |
