On the basis of systematic research and further recognition of the fine description of reservoir characteristic and other theoretical knowledge, the thesis chose Jurassic Y8 reservoir sedimentary characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation regularity in Ordos basin as a subject to study. The object of this assay is Jurassic Y8 reservoir of Zhouhe-Shuanghe exploration area in Ordos basin. The sedimentary characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation regularity in Jurassic Y8 reservoir was studied based on widely collected drilling and logging data. By stratigraphic division and correlation, Y8 reservoir was divided into two small layers, Y81 reservoir and Y82 reservoir. It can be easily seen from the perspective of the distribution of reservoir in planar region, Y82 reservoir enriched in the northern, central and southern area with thickness reservoir and widely distribution. Thus, it is a main oil bearing layer in this area. Through the discussion of the regularity of sedimentary facies and sand body distribution, it was determined that the channel sand body formed by the underwater distributary channel deposit is the good reservoir of Y8 sedimentary period in the study area. After the comprehensive research of reservoir and reservoir distribution characteristics, we found out the sedimentary micro-facies type, evaluated reservoir heterogeneity and finally made a suggestion of the rolling developmental good block. The most important conclusion of this assay is the hydrocarbon accumulation regularity of Y82 reservoir: the hydrocarbon distribution of Y82 reservoir is in the control of structure, sedimentary and reservoir physical property.
