As the bases of “Xinjiang coal shipped East” and “Xinjiang Electricity shipped East”, the total CBM resource to a depth of 2000 m in SanTangHu of Turpan-Hami Basin cumulative identified is 120 billion Tons. Expected annual output of up to 100 million tons after entering the development phase, the SanTangHu basin will be the one of biggest coal bases in China. This article is based on the “SanTangHu Coalfield census- detailed survey project”, According to the classic Sequence Stratigraphy and the latest analysis of drilling, well logging, paleontology data to distinguish the third-order sequences boundary that contrast in research areas. Moreover, this article relies on the conversion of stacked style of stratum, lithology, generalized facies and biota data to set off HST, EST, LST. The research regard correlation profiles of sedimentary sequences as the foundation to building a sequence framework made by fourth-order sequences unit in XiShanyao formation of SanTangHu Basin. This article depends on the data analysis of 427 drillings’ cores and well logging, identified that XiShanYao formation in SanTangHu Basin basically comprises fan-delta, delta, lakes, and morasses. According to making figure of sandstone percentage amount define that material source of SanTangHu basin came from Dahaputike Mountain, Sutuhai Mountain and Keziletage Mountain. The deposition center located on the Hanshuiquan sag and Tiaohu sag. Because of the thrust system by Himalaya Movement, the deep lake facies of South-west Santanghu basin were denudated. The whole Coal-accumulated zone Controlled by Paleoclimatic, Sedimentary Basins Basement settlement, Sedimentary characteristics and sedimentary accommodation space change rate, The coal mainly distributed in EST, the most beneficial environment of coal enrichment must be delta, lakes by middle sedimentation rate and lower Siliciclastic Sediments Supply.
