The Dunde and Songhu iron ore is the typical deposits of Awulale metallogenic belt, at present, research and data show that its formation is closely related with volcanic activity. Now in the Awulale metallogenic belt discovered Dunde, Songhu, Beizhan and Shikebutai etc. many large and medium-sized iron mine.But the research about the deposits are relatively weak, the Awulale metallogenic belt of the two mineral deposits are few comparative studies on that long distance of two deposits of comparative study is less.Dunde iron mine is located in the Awulalecheng ore belt in the East, and Songhu iron deposit is located in the Awulalecheng ore belt in the West. Therefore, the two ore contrast not only to the mine itself meaningful, and to further understanding Awulale metallogenic belt, which has far-reaching significance.In this paper, based on the previous research results, combined with field geological survey and the deposit metallogenic conditions and basic characteristics of the deposit and other aspects of comprehensive research, analyze the Dunde, Songhu iron ore from the macroscopic angle.Of two deposits were detailed geological investigation, and sample collection work in two mining area.
