InSAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry) and the D-InSAR(Differential Syn-thetic Aperture Radar Interferometry)as new microwave remote sensing technology, have developed rapidly in recent years,which has all-weather,all- covering a broad area with a highdegree of automation and high-precision monitoring ground deformation capacity. It hasbecome a great potential new technology for space-to-earth observation. According to theinterference principle,D-InSAR technology for monitoring ground deformation can be re-solved unit of tiny surface deformation,which can reach mm-level accuracy in theory. Thistechnology uses in the coal mine subsidence monitoring is serious affected by frequentlyactivities on the ground, serious temporal decorrelation and other factors.How to use the int-erference information to get the coal mine’s different aspects of subsidence monitoring isneed to be solved urgently.Jining area with substantial development of mineral resources, groundwater resources, and other natural causes, the ground subsidence is becoming more and more serious and high-precision monitoring of ground subsidence has became a urgent problem.In this paper, the Jining area is chosen as the test area, and the ground subsidence in Jining area is monitored and studied in detail. Applying the D-InSAR technique and the 8 pictures of ALOS PALSAR data to detect the subsided areas and got the vertieal subsided quantity by two-pass D-InSAR technique,after interference images generation,adaptive filter and coherence generation,unwrapping and geographic coding.Importing the data into ArcGIS to get the ground subsidence monitoring map of Jining area by ArcGIS process. According to the final result, the ground subsidence degree and the changing tendency of Jining were analyzed.This paper compares the distribution of the ground subsidence in Jining area with the distribution of mineral resources and the groundwater exploitation,and takes Rencheng District as an example to give detailed analysis. The results show that the distribution of the ground subsidence in the experimental data is basically consistent with the mineral and groundwater severe exploitation regions.The results of the analysis shows that the D-InSAR technology is one of the best choices for monitoring large scale coal mining area ground subsidence.
