Jianyang-Pucheng area, located in the north of the Northwestern uplift zone of Wuyi metallogenic belt, is a major fluorite metallogenic prospective area in Fujian province, and even to the southeast of China. However, research on the metallogenic regularity and metallogenic prognosis has been done inadequately and so it became a bottleneck that restricts the mineral resources exploration in this area. This paper, on the basis of full collection of the existing geological datum and research achievements, focuses on two typical fluorite deposits which are Yanggaoshan and Huitan deposits to study their regional geological characteristics, the metallogenic elements and metallogenic geological conditions, then summarize the metallogenic regularity for suggesting fluorite ore prospecting direction within metallogenic prediction in this area.Medium-low temperature hydrothermal filling ore deposit is mostly the genesis type of the fluorite deposits(sites) in the reseach area. Faults and granite magmatism during Yanshanian are the main controlling factors of the fluorite deposits(sites). Deposits epoch is mainly Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous. Fluorite deposits are mainly related to the orogenic movement during Yanshanian. And the Jurassic biotite adamellite and medium-coarse-grained biotite-feldspar granite, the main mineralization mother rock of fluorite ore deposits, is extensive developed in research area, characterized in high silicon, alkali-rich, poor calcium, F-rich and other volatile components, significant in postmagmatic hydrothermal alteration. The ore-hosting rocks of Yanggaoshan deposit are F-richedrhyolitic crystal fragment tuff and ignimbrite, while that of Huitan fluorite deposit is muscovitize medium-fine adamellite, which all are favorable conduit ore-bearing wall rocks. All the deposits(sites) in the research area are controlled by fracture structures, and the morphologic characteristics show that the occurrences are the veins or lenticular bodies. The direction of the most ore-bearing fracture is NE or NNE, and pressure torsion fracture is more conducive to mineralization.Through systematic study on fluorite metallogenic conditions and metallogenic regularity and combined with fluorite ore prospecting indicators, it has divided four prospecting area according to the distribution of structure, formation, igneous rocks this area, that is, the Wengkeng-Gulou prospecting work area, the Guanqian-Hantangwu prospecting work area, the Zhikeng prospecting work area and the Huitan prospecting work area.
