Design And Development Of Basic Farmland Information Service Platform Based On WebGIS

Land is the material basis of human survival and development; what’s more, keeping the red line for arable land and the protection of basic farmland is closely related to national food security and agricultural modernization.With the rapid development of urbanization, land resources not only should be of intensive use but also achieve its informational and networked management, which has become an urgent need for current social development.Land Resources industry involves large quantities of basic geographic data,and the characteristics of its data determines that the data management system must rely on GIS technology, and be capable of synchronous management of geospatial data and attribute information by the use of GIS and database.In recent years, WebGIS, integrating Internet technology, spatial database technology and geographic information systems(GIS) technology, emerges and can meet the need of the informational supervision and management of basic farmland related business networking,so therefore it has become important means to achieve "manage online" Target.This paper uses Object-Oriented concepts and model-view-controller(MVC) pattern, combining the basic theory and methods of basic farmland information management, and then analyses Web application technology, WebGIS technology and structural framework of basic farmland information systems based on WebGIS. Taking the establishment of basic farmland information service platform of ZhashuiCounty, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, it designs the database system combining relational database and spatial database by using ESRI’s ArcGIS Server10.0 as a map server publishing platform and.NET development environment. The system, based on B / S mode, possesses such functions at county scale as farmland information online browsing, information inquiry, statistical analysis, analysis of basic farmland occupation and so on. It provides an intuitive and effective way of basic farmland information inquiry and intensive management, and has some theoretical significance and practical value for promoting information sharing and making sure of the implement of the permanent basic farmland protection responsibility to each farmer.
