The Wuling Mountain is located in the junction of Hubei, Chongqing, Guizhou, Hunan. The Fanjing Mountain is the main peak of The Wuling Moutain. The mammal fauna and species communities were investigated by capturing small mammals(including SORICOMORPHA, RODENTIA and CHIROPTERA) using clamps and traps methods in 2013-2015. We analysis small mammal fauna in this region.Small mammals captured in this study belongs to 3 orders 12 families and 38 species. The most capture yield was Niviventer confucianus, the least was Typhlomys cinereus, Berylmys bowersi, Leopoldamys edwardsi in RODENTIA.The most capture yield in SORICOMORPHA was Crocidura attenuata, the least was Mogera sp.The Oriental realm species is the most in northern subtropical region, the south temperate zone and the middle temperature zones.The most capture yield in CHIROPTERA was Rhinolophidae, the least was Hipposideridae.Combine with other study in history, the are 3 orders 11 families and 54 species.Mogera sp, Murina sp are the new species, Sorex bedfordiae is new in Guizhou.
