ObjectsIntestinal bile duct is the only way into the digestive system, it can affect the animal body’s digestion and absorption and growth. Medicine research on human intestinal bile duct has been very thorough, but there was less study in most of gallbladder mammal. This study aims to study anatomical and histological structure differences of the intestinal bile duct in guinea pig, rabbit, canine, feline and yak. Providing morphological basis for further exploring the physiological function of intestinal bile duct.Methods1.Acquainting young healthy and athletic guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, yaks(5 animals each) fresh intestinal bile duct samples for gross anatomy observation and comparison, using a vernier caliper and bevel protractor measuring data. Making lens serial tissue sections and using HE and AB-PAS staining to observe the changes in the organizational structure of the five animal intestines bile duct and differences between them.2.Through the Image-Pro express software to measuring the data of the intestinal bile duct, statistic and analysis through the SPSS software.Results1.Rabbit bile duct opening special, was located in the gastric pyloric part, the other animals was in the duodenum. In guinea pig, the shape of large papilla was semicircular, in rabbit and canine was oblate ellipsoid, in feline and yak was long spindle. Guinea pig, rabbit and yak intestinal bile ducts were formed separately from the bile duct, dog and cat’s were formed by both the bile duct and the pancreatic duct.2.These five animal intestinal bile duct mucous layer gradually thickened during passing, their glands and folds were increased and formed mucosal flaps. Muscular and intestinal / pyloric wall longitudinal muscle converged and gradually disappeared. Intestinal/pancreatic bile duct mucosa and duodenum mucosa converged and constituted major papilla opening. The main organizational structure of large papilla is mucosa.3.Guinea pig, rabbit and yak intestinal bile duct was formed from bile duct along, canine and feline intestinal bile duct were formed by bile duct and pancreatic duct. The vater ampulla was found in guinea pig, rabbit, feline and yak, but not in canine. The vater ampulla was formed by the bile duct enlarging in guinea pig, rabbit and yak. In this area, the bile duct structure mucous layer was thickened, a significant increase in the gland and formed a large number of mucosal flap, muscle large shrinked gradually. Only felines had sphincter of Qddi and formed ampulla valvular. The property of intestinal bile duct in rabbits and yaks were changed. The property of intestinal bile duct gland were different, the intestinal bile duct gland was serous gland in guinea pig, canine and feline, in rabbit was mucous gland, in yak was mixed gland.Conclusions1.Differences in the anatomy of this five animal intestinal bile duct:the shape and position of large papilla.2.Differences in the histology of this five animal intestinal bile duct:Difficult in the formation of intestinal bile duct, vater ampulla, muscular changes, the property of intestinal bile duct gland.
