In this paper,we have carried on the detailed research of light-emitting characteristics of the natural fluorescent sodalite incorporate with albite,and find out the source of the orange and mei red fluorescence.Hydrothermal method are adopted to synthesize sodalite crystals,and the further successfully synthesized the Eu3+doping sodalite structure of fluorescent materials by the water and heat treatment process.Thier structures, morphology, thermal stability, luminous performance, color purity and fluorescent life time were characterized by using the X-ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electronmicroscope(SEM),Differential thermal analyzer(TG-DTA),Thermogravimetric differential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC), Inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer(ICP-AES),The international Commission on illumination(CIE) standard colorimetric system, and the Steady/transient testing methods.1.The structure characterization and luminescent properties of the fluorescent sodalite incorporated with albite have been investigated. The XRD results showed that the main mineral phases is sodalite, and minor mineral phases is albite. Through the XRD and TG, DTA, DSC analysis, it is identified that the mineral transformed into an amorphous glassy state at1,300℃.The total mass loss rate of the sample was 3.2%, among them the structural water have the largest loss rate is2.5%.The red and orange-yellow luminescence due to the Fe3+and S2-center, respectively. Their red luminescence intensities were regularly decreased as the temperature of heat treatment increased. However the orange-yellow band increased at first and then decreased, and the optimal annealing temperature was 900℃.2.Sodalites were synthesized by hydrothermal method and the results showed that,the synthetic products is sodalite structure.crystal package parameters a0=0.889 nm,z=l.The synthetic product uniform particles diameter of 0.5μm and has the endothermic reaction at 280℃。3.Eu3+doped Na8Al6Si6O24(OH)2.(H2O/NO3)2 phosphors were synthesized by hydrothermal method and after heat treatment conditions. SEM images showed that the morphology of samples composed by some long thick rod shape and irregular polyhedron structure,average particle size about 0.6 and 2μm. Samples can be efficiently excited by UV-396 nm and can emit red fluorescence better monochromaticity of(0.6136,0.3377) and the color purity is 85.5%. The concentration quenching occurs when the doping concentration of Eu3+ is more than 7mol%.And the relative brightness and red ratio of samples are stable to the change of the temperature at37~100℃.Through the above analysis, red fluorescent powder synthesized in the possibility of the application of the three primary colors of white LED lighting field.
