Facing the current serious water crisis, seeking high efficiency and energy saving method of desalination has become the focus of the realm of energy and water resources at home and abroad. On the basis of the analysis of existing desalination methods, this paper proposes a new efficient method of freeze desalination-evaporation freeze desalination method driven by difference of humidity, and the characteristics of heat and mass transfer process are studied.This paper gives the model of heat and mass transfer of evaporation freeze desalination method driven by difference of humidity, analyzes the main factors influencing water solution to freeze. This paper discusses the process of heat and mass transfer of evaporation freeze desalination, deduces the theoretical energy consumption of evaporation freeze desalination, and the driving potential of sensible heat and latent heat transfer to evaporation freeze processes of solution are analyzed in comparison.Fluent software is used to the analyze evaporation freeze phenomenon and distribution state of frozen water, steam, ice in evaporation freeze process. Discusses t the relationship between the mass convection and transfer coefficient and the amount of ice. Analyses the influence of the difference of air humidity, air velocity and sink length to the mass transfer coefficient in the process of evaporation freeze, Discusses relationship between the Reynolds number and mass transfer coefficient in the process of air flow.This paper construct the humidity difference driven evaporation freeze desalination experiment device, studies the differences of the freeze of aqueous solution in different humidity and airflow velocity function into. Analyses the test results and the theoretical simulation results, and both have good consistency.The research results show that the differences of the air humidity and airflow velocity in processes of evaporation freeze water desalination are the main influencing factors of the amount of ice, and Under the same conditions of same, the greater humidity difference, the amount of ice is larger; The greater the flow velocity, the greater the amount of ice. At the same time, the water tank length is also the important factors that affect evaporation mass transfer effects, the greater length of the sink, the better completion for heat and mass transfer.
