| With the rapid development of Geomatics, Geoinformation technology and computer information technology, the construction of digital city had been promoted by the government departments at home. Digital three-dimensional campus As one part of the digital city, the research about 3D modeling of digital campus fast and accurately had been paid attention to in education. At present, the parameterized modeling technology is suitable for a wide range of 3D scene modeling in city, so it can also do a competent job on the 3D campus construction in which covers a large area.Based on the CGA parametric 3D modeling method of CityEngine, the parameterized modeling rules of the important roads and buildings in campus has been explored in this paper. The template of campus roads and building modeling rules had been created by extending and custom modeling rules. Nanchang campus of East China Institute of technology had been taken as experimental area in this research, according to the large scale topographic map and campus building plane design and texture information, the campus of the three-dimensional scene modeling had been achieved quickly and accurately by using modeling rules which had been created. And 3D campus model had been reconstructed fast and really, using the texture mapping rules. The duplication work in modeling can be compiled to code rules in the parametric 3D modeling method, avoiding a lot of work in the repeated modeling, with the efficiency of the modeling work improving. The model could be generated quickly by rules, and it also could do model bulk changes through adjusting the mode parameters. Digital campus 3D modeling work could be completed fast and accurately with texture mapping. |
