Fuzzy soft set is a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty problem. It is widely used in various field in recent years, especially the application of it in decision making. The paper mainly discusses research on methods of fuzzy soft sets in decision making and group decision making. The main results of this text are as follows:For research on decision making based on fuzzy soft sets, fuzzy soft discernibility matrix is constructed by using the discernibility matrix of the rough sets and the level soft set of fuzzy soft sets, and some properties associated with the fuzzy soft discernibility matrix are researched. Based on fuzzy soft discernibility matrix, a algorithm is proposed to solve the decision making problem. This algorithm can output an order relation of all the objects by scanning in the fuzzy soft discernibility matrix at most one time easily. In practical problems, decision maker can adjust the parameters values of the level soft set and get a different fuzzy soft dercinibility matrix to obtain the optimal decison making object.For research on group decision making based on fuzzy soft sets, the concept of similarity measure is introduced to the situation of expert weight unknown, analyzes the relationship between the single expert fuzzy soft set and standard fuzzy soft set as well as the relationship between the single expert fuzzy soft set and the other expert fuzzy soft set, and a method of constructing expert weight is proposed. Finally, the group decision algorithm is presents using fuzzy soft matrix and the expert weight, example analysis shows that the algorithm is reasonable.
