The Research Of Urban Land Use Extension Around Quanzhou Bay Based On Remote Sensing And GIS

As the speeding up of urbanization progress, the number of cities increased and the urban scale expanded gradually, lead to the constantly change of urban land.The spatial expansion of urban land has gradually became the main features of land use change and the focus of research in this field at present and in the future.The research of urban land expansion can deepen understanding the essence of urbanization, then provides effective decision-making reference for urban sustainable development. The development of remote sensing and GIS provides important technical support for urban land expansion.For this purpose, this paper took the region of Quanzhou bay as study area, researched the land use change and urban land expansion, used the third period of TM image of 2000、2005 and 2010 years, based on GIS technology platform, combined visual interpretation with supervised classification human-computer interaction classification method to interpret images of the region of Quanzhou bay, quantitatively analyzed land use change, the type conversion of land use and landscape pattern of land use in the region of Quanzhou bay from 2000 to 2010.Combining the results of using the three periods of remote sensing image classification of land use image and imitation of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDBI) method to extract the patches of urban land of the region around Quanzhou Bay, on this basis to extract the patches of urban land in the region around Quanzhou Bay, take the result image for overlay analysis, took quantitative analysis about the urban land expansion speed and strength in the studied area, and put forward the comprehensive index model of the land use extension, analyzed the spatial differentiation characteristics of urban land expansion based on buffer and the directivity sector, then analyzed the change of spatial form of urban expansion and explored the mode of urban land expansion.Finally, combining with the socio-economic statistics data of the study area, analyzed the driving force element of urban land extension around Quanzhou bay during the study period, to provide urban land extension decision reference for the region around Quanzhou bay in the future, and then promote sustainable development of social economy and ecological environment in bay city.
