Currently, the natural gas hydrate had been discovered in more than 100 areas in the world directly or indirectly, and in the Shenhu region of South China Sea found in May 2007 respectively. And it has been proved that 90% of the total hydrate resources existed in the marine, so the study of marine gas hydrate exploration techniques have great significance.Adopting the sea water-soluble deposit of methane and other indicators of the geochemical characteristics, conduct the gas hydrate exploration and environmental geology research and discussion, and this is an important branch of the marine geochemical exploration methods. The detection of sea water geochemical indicators can provide a wealth of data, which provide a scientific basis to solve the exploration and development of marine gas hydrates as well as the related geological problems.
