The structural characteristics of the formation has a very good inheritance from top to bottom, and "East High and west low" structural features like ramp in WU Qi Yuan Shi wa oilfield. The sedimentary characteristics of Yanchang formation is Chang 10 formation period began for the lake, and Chang 9-Chang8 the lake basin expansion, and Chang4+5, Chang6 developed delta front subfacies, and Chang2 and Chang 1 development for delta plain subfacies, and to Yan10 the development of fluvial fades. Comprehensive study shows that group of the main belt extended with the sand from the northeast to the southwest, and Evolution from river to delta plain, and the delta front phase evolution to a shallow lake facies.Based on the microscopic-analysis on casting thin sections and SEM, the pore types of sandstone reservoir in the YanlO-Chang9 oil formation are mainly intergranular pores, and secondly grain inner hole, feldspar dissolved pore, dissolved pore. A statistical analysis of the data of reservoir sandstone core analysis and log interpretation is carried out, which indicates that the sandstone of Yanan formation in this area belongs to middle porosity and medium low permeability reservoir. In the study of single sand layer, mterlayer heterogeneity and micro heterogeneity, the heterogeneity of the layer and the interlayer is the main, and the micro heterogeneity is weak. Through the two time log interpretation, combined with the test results, the permeability and the oil/water level of the well are corrected, and the new interpretation results are more close to the actual production.Petroleum geological reserves were estimated, and calculated reserves of pelroleum geology 3475.97×104t in the area of 72km2 extension Yan9, Yan10, Chang 1, Chang2, Chang4+5, Chang 6, Chang8, Chang9 oil group. The Yanan group was 483.46×104t, the Yanchang group was2992.51×104m3.The Yanchang formation is middle-deep layers, low porosity, low permeability, low yield, low abundance, and medium reservoir.
