China is a country with frequent natural disasters, water supply system will be often damaged when disaster comes, drinking water is difficult to be guaranteed in the disaster-affected area. With the development of industrialization, water shortage and water pollution situation growing, serious threat to the quality of water safety, drinking water safety issues become the focus of national and social concerns. It is safe and effective method of drinking water treatment which using advanced oxidation technology based on atmospheric electric field discharge. The core of this method is large-scale and efficient preparation of oxygen reactive species, based on atmospheric electric field discharge. Atmospheric pressure non-equilibrium plasma reactor, established by partitioned exciting method, can be used to solve the geometrical scale amplification effect, which is the core technology device for advanced oxidation ballast water treatment. This paper studies the discharge interaction phenomenon of atmospheric partitioned exciting plasma reactor array, and establishes series-parallel combination pattern of the reactor’s working, and do some researches of the application characteristics of partitioned exciting plasma reactor array finally. The following original conclusions are drawn:(1) The discharge mode of atmospheric pressure needle-to-plane dielectric barrier has been investigated. The alternate discharge mode of micro streamer and micro like glow discharge is generated in high applied voltage. When being the single micro discharge channel, it produces a reverse electric field, due to the influence of the deposited charge on the dielectric surface. Micro discharge channel swims in a high speed around deposited charge. And it will presents a conical discharge form with a circular chassis by macroscopic observation. When being the double micro discharge channel, the two discharge channels exhibit mutual repulsion. When being the three micro discharge channel, the middle micro streamers emit weak light and the micro streamers on both sides still emerge the phenomenon of bending to the left and right or shifting respectively, which shows the mutually exclusive phenomena.(2) Based on the atmospheric pressure non-equilibrium plasma reactor of rectangular thin plate structure, it establishes series-parallel combination pattern of the oxygen plasma reactor. The concentration of oxygen active particles of oxygen plasma reactor has lager ascension when the reactor multi-module in series, the highest concentration of the rector of single-module structure reaches 100.0 g/m3 when the quantity of oxygen intake is 3 L/min, but the most concentration of the rector of three-module structure reaches 155.6 g/m3; the production of oxygen active particles of oxygen plasma reactor has lager ascension when the reactor multi-module in parallel, the highest production of the rector of single-module structure reaches 29.3 g/h when the quantity of oxygen intake is 9L/min, but the most production of the rector of three-module structure in parallel reaches 53.8 g/m3.According to demand of the concentration and production of the oxygen active particles in practical application,the oxygen plasma reactor can be used combined with series and parallel modules.(3) According to combine the partitioned exciting plasma reactor array and hydraulic cavitation system, and test application characteristic of partitioned exciting plasma reactor array under the different miscibility way of hydraulic cavitation equipment. The quantity of oxygen intake reduced properly can increase the concentration of oxygen active particle under the same miscibility way of hydraulic cavitation device, while The quantity of oxygen intake increased can grow the production of oxygen active particle and reduce power consumption of partitioned exciting plasma reactor array units. The quantity of oxygen intake increased can enlarge distortion power of partitioned exciting plasma reactor array under the same available power condition. So the equipment suit the application demand of high efficiency and large-scale, the application character provides a reliable basis for real application.
