| Down-hole TV is a logging instrument used to obtain down hole image in oil field, and becomes an important logging technology, having wide spread application. Down-hole TV logging technique captures borehole images by down-hole camera and can be applied to well casing inspection, down-hole fishing, down-hole completion quality inspection, etc. This paper is primarily concerned with the research of the imaging system and the log data transfer system.This paper simply introduces the basic working principles, requirements, and systematic compositions of digital high-definition Down-hole TV Logging System. The front-end image acquisition system equips with heat resisting and webcam, which is based on CCD imaging sensor, realizes the data acquisition and processing of the down-hole TV image. The information will be transported to the ground system through the data transmission system in the form of proportional compressed format using H.264 coding standards. In the processes of long-distance transmission, the symmetric high-speed digital subscriber line technology(SHDSL) was used to realize the command parsing, video signal sampling and controlling, data uploading and so on. Also, for each functional module and a number of key technologies of the Down-hole TV Logging System, the analysis, comparisons and testing experiments were conducted on the performance of high-definition, high-speed, long-distance transmission process.In this paper, the long-distance data transmission of the digital high-definition Down-hole TV Logging System is the most important consideration. Through the theoretical analysis and testing experiments on the performance of the image and transfer modes, it indicates that the Down-hole TV Logging System can realize the high-definition and long-distance transmission of the down-hole TV image. |
