This paper design a rod handling system,collaborate rod swing device operation rod mechanically and automaticly in the drilling process.Combined project tasks and objectives,complete the system structural design,kinematics analysis,static analysis of key components,theory experiments and first prototype. The specific contents as follows:First,carried out the research status of rod handling system at home and abroad,expounded the content and significance of the research. According to the function and operation requirement of the rod handling system,determined the whole structure and work flow of the system,with the aid of Solidworks software,finished the three-dimensional model of the system.Secondly, used Solid Works Motion simulated kinematics and the mianmotion, pick relevant parts motion trajectory, position, velocity, acceleration and other motion parameters curve.By analyzed the motion results,summaried the law of motion,verified the feasibility and rationality of the design.Again, using Solid Works simulation simulated the key components of the system under the normal condition,obtained the stress and deformation and verified the design.Provided the basis for structureoptimizing.In addition, the innovation theory and methods were verified by theory experiments. Accumulate experiences for the trial producted of the first prototype.Finally, finished the rod handling system prototype 2D drawings, and processing the generation prototype, carry the system design and rof discharge effect on the spot check, Summarizes the results for further improvement provides reference suggestion.
