In recent years, gas explosion often happen in the process of use, storage and transport, which lead to a large number of casualties and economic property losses, so the safety issues of gas are generally concerned, and has aroused great attention of relevant departments. However, due to the wide range of the use of gas, it is difficult to eliminate the gas explosion completely at the present stage. Therefore, it has a high pragmatic value to study the model of gas explosion, analysis the factors which can impact the strength of gas explosion, estimate the scope of gas explosion, and simulate the process of gas explosion.The main work in this dissertation is realize the given gas explosion model by programming, and show the whole process of the gas explosion by the use of the three-dimensional simulation platform. The above work can be subdivided into four aspects. Firstly, we need have a research on the key technology of CFD, explosion science, physical mechanics and combustion science, and building the gas explosion’s model which consist by EBU-Arrhenius combustion model, k-ε turbulence model and N-S model. Secondly, we will introduce the programming technology on GPU in the realization process. We will programme the algorithm of gas explosion on CUDA by using GPU’s high degree of parallelism. Thus we can improve the calculation speed and accuracy greatly, and ensure the real-time calculation. Thirdly, we will designe and realize the simulation of gas explosion by Unity 3D. Fourthly, we will compare the model in my dissertation and the traditional model in Fluent and Unity 3D.There are two innovation points in this paper, the first one is implement the combination of gas explosion model and virtual reality scene, this point not only can improve the sense of reality of gas explosion’s simulation, but also can reach the scientific control of the gas explosion incident. The second one is implement the parallel optimization of the gas explosion model algorithm by GPU, this point not only can overcome the disadvantage that cannot provide real-time data to 3D simulation platform because of the solve time is too long, but also can improve the computing speed and accuracy effectively.
