Analysis On The Unawareness Of The Presupposition In Science Studies After Sociology Of Scientific Knowledge

Relativism had become indispensable in the process of development of Science Studies from Thomas Kuhn to SSK, and it has evolved a new form as incommunicability in Science Studies of Cultural Relativism and of Ontological Relativism after SSK and has become an ideological factor of both.Science Studies of Cultural Relativism focus on the relationship between disadvantage groups and Science and Technology and demonstrate their rights confronting the development of S & T, and then instigate social movements. It contains Postcolonialism and Feminism. During the development of theories in these two field, theorists refuse to accept the judgement about the value and connotation of S & T from Scientists according to the premiss of their theories, and they reconstruct that of S & T, and then this reconstruction becomes isolation and incommunicability between communities in some radical theories and social movements. Finally this isolation and incommunicability hinders the realization of the goal in social and theoretical aspects.Science Studies of Ontological Relativism focus more on theoretical aspect to construct new Science Study Theories about the practice of S & T. The purpose of this construction can be of social or theoretical value. The Theory of Mangle from Andrew Pickering and A.N.T. from Bruno Latour can stand for this branch. In this branch, Relativism do not come as a premiss but incommunicability between theorists of Science Studies and Scentists can be found in the methodology. It breaks the sigmacompleteness of theories and generates negative influence during the spreading of these two theories.During the development of these two branches, theorists are unaware of the relativism-incommunicbility factor, so problems come up. When studying important issues about S & T, we should be aware about that.
