The Middle of Xuefeng Mountain is the intersection composite parts.of Chenzhou Shaoyang NorthWest structure ore belt and Baimashan Longshan EastWest structure ore belt.It has Experienced six large crustal movement of the Wuling-Xishan.Multi group structures are developed in the region.They are superimposed on each other, Interluded,transformed and used and form the structure of the North East as the main body and North West as the auxiliary body.The two structrures altogether controlled the formation and distribution of gold deposits in the ore field.It formed the various types of mineralization of gold deposits because of the minerals of multi-source and ore-forming process of the multi period,multi stage,multi genesis,multiple superposition and transformation.The artical takes the gold deposit as the research object.Including Chanziping typical gold deposit of Fractured altered rock type,Daping typical gold deposit of Fractured altered rock type and Schistose alteration type,Tong Xi typical gold deposit of Fine vein type of sandstone.It Systematically summarizes the occurrence regularity, ore enrichment regularity, prospecting marks of the ore field and puts forward looking for prospecting through the analysis and comparison of the geological characteristics of the deposit for ore body characteristics, ore characteristics, mineral characteristic and corrosion characteristics and mineralization enrichment regularity.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:1 The ore bearing stratum of Xuefeng gold deposits(points) is the strata of hibiscus Creek group and Sinian.2 The main structure in the ore field are the structure of the Northeast which is the main of structure of lead ore or lead-contain ore and the structure of the Northwest which is the main of structure of contain ore.The two sets of structures are often the output parts of the rich ore bodies.3 The vein of gold ore bodies are distributed in the Ductile brittle shear zone of the Northeast and its two sides.they distribute mainly en echelon or parallel on the plane or section,They generally present alteration such as silicification, sericitization, pyrite, arsenopyrite, etc..The vein of the Northwest is with silicification and strong mineralization, But It is not uniform. Ore body thickness and grade of the gold have large variation.The vein of Northeast is with silicification and weaker mineralization, But It is uniform. the strike and dip extension of the Ore body is stable. If the strong silicified and various sulfides such as pyrite and arsenopyrite etc.are developed at the same time,The Mineralization of the ore vein is good.on the other hand,It is weak.4 The fine vein type gold deposits of the sandstone are closely related to the structure.It can form industrial ore bodies when the North East and North West trending fracture zones or close cleavage belt are developed strongly in the sandstone layer and with intense silicification and accompanied by Ore bearing hydrothermal solution.They can form industrial ore bodies which Located in crossing of the two groups.The mineralization is strong,ore body thickness is bigger.5 According to the research of deposit geological characteristics and enrichment regularities of mineralization of Daping and Chanziping and Tongxi,combined with regional geological background in the study area,considered the area of Daping to Qunfeng and the area of Zhongshan to Xiangxi are of great potential for ore prospecting.
