Stiffened plate is widely used in many fields of life, research on ribbed plate with good usability. The optimization analyzes of ribbed plate for rib arrangement based on meshless method and composing the first-order shear deformation theory and moving least squares method. It is more convenient to use points to discrete structures than use element, which is the way of meshless method, with rib’s position changes continue to occur. Article gives a brief introduction to shape functions chosen method, node points, boundary conditions treated way based on meshless method.As the rib center point a control point, the distribution optimization of ribs in order to make the center of the ribbed plate deflection minimum. Random direction method are used on the ribbed plate optimization firstly, and introduce the process optimization based on meshless method composing random direction. However, the solution of random direction method is susceptible to select the initial point, which is not easy to find the approximate optimum. To solve this problem require a lot of double counting and find the most advantage result in the calculation result.In order to solve this problem, using genetic algorithm method associated with it, and form a new method which is mixed genetic algorithm method. Firstly, genetic algorithm are described in detail, and examples illustrate the use of genetic algorithm has good global optimization, but convergence is slow, hybrid genetic algorithm with random direction method can complement just formed. After that the program flow based on meshless methods composing hybrid genetic algorithm were introduced, and examples are to verify its validity.
