The rapid development of the highway construction produced a lot of exposed artificial slope, damaging the surface vegetation and slope structure. For quantitative evaluation of the protective effect of the slope protection effect in different growth stages. the Yuexi section of Yue Wu Highway slope in the typical road is treated as the study sites. Through continuous field observation on plant growth period 65,94,128 days,and grasp root soil complex anti shear strength and soil anti erodibility by using direct shear method and hydrostatic collapse method. Meanwhile, mastering the dynamic change datas of ecological slope protection, mechanics and the indicators of soil and water conservation in order to establish grey comprehensive evaluation mode.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1) The difference of ecological effect index of different slope protection technology is great, especially the underground biomass of plants is the most prominent, and the average increment of each observation period is 166.8g. The change of plant coverage was small, and the adjacented observation period was only 4.5%. At the same time, the evenness of plants increased first and then decreased with the increasing of time, which was different from other ecological indexes.(2) In the different growth stages of the plant, root system can significantly improve the shear resistance of the shallow soil slope, and the growth period of 127 days of the shear strength of the root soil composite shear strength is the largest for 5.21 kPa.root can also be effective in delaying time of slope deformation, soil sample and soil root complex to ultimate shear capacity of displacement is 18 mm and 19~40 mm respectively, and the residual shear displacement of the latter increased by an average of 29.7% compared with the former. In addition, the predictive value of the classical Wu’s model to the soil shear strength is high, and the accuracy of the original model is improved by introducing the correction coefficient 0.47.(3) The difference of slope soil corrosion resistance significantly, corrosion resistance coefficient showed an increasing trend in different growth stages with an increase of 16.4%. Overall, the anti erosion properties of plant fiber blanket optimal slope protection frame and frame beam in the grass finally.(4) By using AHP and grey evaluate principle of protection effect of different protective measures. The comprehensive assessments of the value of the slope are quite different, and shows an fluctuation in different plant growth stages.The optimal value evaluation appeared in the 128 days of plant fiber blanket frame for side slope protection by reaching 0.993.
