In recent years, with the popularization of higher education tends to decrease the level of students. The Department of mathematics of students is particularly prominent, many students in the basic language and language, including the continuity of function concepts have different degrees of confusion. So, this paper first explores the mathematics students what are confused in concept learning and continuous limit? Then, the paper further explores the causes of these puzzles is what? This study selected the Mathematics Department of East China Normal University freshman and two students in a class as the research object, the first is the pencil and paper test, which is about a continuous limit, the concept of mathematical analysis. After the end of the test, CPFS structure theory and conceptual representation theory to the test situation analysis, and focus on two grade accuracy have obvious differences in the subject, from the low rate of correct the grade in randomly selected two wrong interview students. The whole test process is the author personally supervision and complete. The results show that different degrees of understanding confusion exists in two grade students understanding of mathematical analysis in the supremum, the sequence converges to the language, including its proof, and Cauchy convergence criterion of equivalent definitions and so on. In addition, compared to a student, sophomore relationship to the limit of a function with the left and right limit, limit of function exist and continuous functions is the difference between understanding significantly inferior to a chip, this basically is belongs to normal forgetting.
