Abstract:The study area is located in the South of "Sanjiang"metallogenic belt, western Yunnan Province. The geological structure is complex, the magmatic activity is strong, and the geological conditions are favorable.This paper, which is based on prospecting project of Wengkong lead zinc mine, Choose the geological background and geological characteristics of the deposit as the research content, the metallogenic theory as a guide, based on the system of collection of data available, by 1:10000 and 1:20000 geological mapping, the establishment of the main structural framework, the study area of geology of ore deposits, ore structure and geochemical study, determined the prospecting criteria and discuss the genesis of the deposit, according to the multivariate information, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing, the delineation of the prospecting target area.Through the analysis of metallogenic geological background and metallogenic strata, lithology, I think that Wengkong lead-zinc deposits is in the town of rehabilitation of the southeast wing of the anticlinorium of Zhenkang county, Sericite argillite and Dali magmatic crystalline limestone rocks. And presumably the anticlinorium exist under the hidden granite body and concealed granite bodies Wengkong lead zinc polymetallic ore forming hydrothermal. The minebody morphology, size, production and shape and spatial distribution are studied, that body shape is controlled by the NW trending faults broken with control of layered, lensoid and vein etc.. Studies suggest that wallrock alteration is mainly silicification, pyritization, green mud petrochemical and marmarization etc., combined with the geochemical research that deposit mineralization took place in the late magma the warm air into bed-hydrothermal filling activity and the genetic type of the deposit should be in the warm air into bed-hydrothermal filling type lead zinc mine belongs to. Through the research of the system, the formation, structure, wall rock alteration, geophysical prospecting and geochemical prospecting signs are established. Analyzes the achievements of regional background, follow up geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing information, select Wengkong-Luojiazai and the river opposite as two important prospecting target area.This paper through the study of Wengkong lead zinc mine geological background and geological characteristics of the deposit, put forward the warm air into bed-hydrothermal filling type lead-zinc deposit for the research area for further prospecting plays a guiding role.
