For the study of the geochemical characteristics of U, Be in 15-3# and 18# main working bed from the Dabaoding mine,Pan Zhihua city, Mainly aiming at the distribution law and occurrence state of U and Be in coal.25 coal samples were collected, including 21 coal sample and 4 roof or floor sample.The change rule of U and Be in coal was analyzed, and the occurrence state of U and Be in coal was further studied.The content of U and Be were determined by the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in the coal sample. The research results of the distribution show mat the average content of U in the Dabaoding coal is 2.78ug/g, ranging from 0.10 to 10.00ug/g, and the average content of Be in Dabaoding coal is 1.63g/g, varing from 0.05 to 3.44ug/g. Compared to the world content of U and Be in coal, U and Be in the Dabaoding coal mine are normal quality score level. U and Be are not enriched in major coal samples, which could be concluded from the enrichment factor related to their contents in the crust. It is obviously that the U content is low comparison with coal in Changhebian mine, Songzao, southwestern China (Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Sichuan) and China, but high comparison with America, Australia, and world coals. While the Be content is only higher than Yunnan, Australia, and world coals. In addition, the concent of U in No.15-3 coalbed Smaller than No.18 coals,the concent of Be in No.15-3 coalbed slightly bigger than No.18. The content of U and Be enrich in the coal Roof and floor and dirt band in No.15-3 and 18 coalbed.Using correlation analysis, cluster analysis and factor analysis to indirect discusses the occurrence state of U, Be in Da Baoding coal mine, the research shows that:U and Be in Da Baoding coal mine is most likely to occur in the clay minerals.
